UK web traffic map – Alex Hancock

For this project, I applied a conceptual filter to an existing map. I took a map of the London Underground and did some research into which stops are the busiest. At the same time, I did research into what the most trafficked sites on the internet are within the UK. I compiled a list of the top 20 stations & sites and then applied the names of the websites to their corresponding underground stations using Photoshop. I also included a key on the right hand side displaying the pairings.

  1. I like the basis for this map idea, however i think the execution could have been simpler. I found it rather difficult to find the key’s numerical locations and think for anyone who is not from London would have a very hard time using this map to get around.
